Can you substitute olive oil for vegetable oil while making betty crocker fudge brownies?

I'm making them but I ran out of vegetable oil.Can you substitute olive oil for vegetable oil while making betty crocker fudge brownies?
Nope, that would be gross. Try using melted butter, margarine, or shortening instead of the veggie oil.Can you substitute olive oil for vegetable oil while making betty crocker fudge brownies?
you should be able to. My boss uses it in pumpkin bread which is also sweet and it does not alter the flavor. i f you are just wanting to use it to make it healthier, substitute unsweetened applesauce, which adds no fat and is way less expensive than olive oil.
NO!!!!! Vegetable is a tasteless fat and olive oil has flavor. You can use canola oil. Here is a real recipe for brownies that uses butter instead of oil....butter tastes much better!

You could, but it might change the taste of the brownies. I use applesauce in place of oils when cooking, simply because it's healthier. It almost never changes the taste.
Olive oil has too strong a flavor. Use butter or margarine , or vegetable shortening.
yeah, its fine. that happens to me alot. they taste pretty much the same.
