Is olive oil considered a vegetable oil?

for baking we need vegetable oil but we have none! is olive oil okay to use?Is olive oil considered a vegetable oil?
Olive oil is technically a fruit oil. Extra virgin has a strong flavor. It can be used in recipes and to fry with, but it will affect the flavor. Actually, olive oil has a higher smoke point than vegetable oil does.Is olive oil considered a vegetable oil?
Extra Virgin Olive oil is thicker, and will add another flavor to your baked goods, but you can use it if that's all you have, and your cake or whatever will still be okay.
No. And unlike vegetable oil, it has a low burning point. Also the smoke from burning olive oil is toxic.
It is a vegetable, but not recommended for cooking.
