Apply some Dawn dish liquid directly to the stain.=)How can i get extra virgin olive oil stains out of my shirt??!?
I highly recommend waterless hand cleaner for any sort of greasy/oily stains. It's used by mechanics to get the grease off their hands and is sold by the names Goop and M30. It is safe on fabric. Work a blob into the stain and let it set for 20 mins or so. Launder as usual. You might see a shadow of the stain on the fabric when you take it out of the wash but it should disappear when dry. To be on the safe side, do not put the shirt into the dryer until you are sure the stain is gone. Heat will set the stain. Let it air dry and give it a second application of Goop if need be. I've not needed to use it a second time. It works on the first application for me.
Try a detergent {ERA works best for this} directly on the stain and let it set for awhile. Maybe we should contact Rachel Ray who is forever using EVOO.
Has it been laundered, and dried?? IF, so it is set in.

If its fresh, I have found that simple green allowed to soak in, will break down cooking oils from most things.

Soak for an hour, rinse it, and launder. Inspect before drying.
Work hair shampoo into stain, then wash. Good luck.
Dawn dish liquid will get the greasey stains out of clothes. Just rub some on the stain from both sides then put in the wash.
full strength liquid laundry detergent rubbed into spot %26amp; washed/rinsed out should do it.
I had good results by dampening the shirt and rubbing the spots with a bar of laundry soap on both sides of the stain. Leave it set for about 10 minutes and then launder as usual.
